Hey There Good-lookin!
Alana and Alisha met while working in radio and became fast friends. From ho life to hormones, coming out, breakups, marriages, career pivots, needles, pregnancies, and a ton of fucking fun…they’ve got one hell of a story to tell. Their lives have been messy, magical, and filled with more laughter than most can handle.
The MotherSip is their love letter to women and those who identify across all ethnicities, cultures, religions, and sexual orientations. No judgment, no drama, just real support, constant laughs, and absolutely no filter.
If you like football, get ready for some premium shit-talking. And if you’ve ever had a wine-stained mouth, a corporate climb, a questionable third martini, or a mom moment gone sideways…you’re in the right place.
Alana and Alisha are here to keep it raw, funny, and real as hell. Read or listen to lift your spirits and remember: you’re never alone.
Alisha, A-Dubs, Lish.
Hey now. Alisha is a native Oregonian raised in a small town called Boring (yes, that’s a real place). As they say… you can take the girl out of Boring, but you can’t take the Boring out of the girl. She’s a fun-loving, mouthy bitch who lives for her family and friends, heavy metal, her Peloton, Oregon Pinot, a cold beer, a loud-ass dive bar, and her beloved Dallas Cowboys.
She’s fiercely loyal, to her sweet pup Nola, her four siblings, her badass squad, and lets not forget…her very handsome husband and cute-as-shit son.
Alisha has been writing for adult publications and websites for years. In the early 2000s, she ran a popular blog packed with cringe-worthy dating stories, too much sex (or not enough?), and the kind of life lessons you only learn the hard way. She says it like it is, has a dangerous addiction to the word fuck, and zero patience for bullshit.
Professionally, Alisha has kicked serious ass in the sports and music world running marketing and advertising. She once traveled Europe solo… and maybe with a band or two. Some stories are better left untold.
Alisha doesn’t waste time on hate, but will definitely let you know if you are a punk ass bitch.

Alana, Shorty, Pussycat.
Alana is Pennsylvania-born but West Coast raised. She’s been rocking awkward since 1981, and truly started owning it in middle school—right around the time an unfortunate run-in with an electric pencil sharpener left her starting 6th grade with an eye patch. Add in braces, a perm with bangs, and the girl was unstoppable.
She’s outgrown everything except the awkward.
Alana runs shit in the entertainment world—Broadway, art, music, and more. Whether it’s behind the scenes or on the mic, she makes things happen. She’s a radio personality (she talks over music, not spins it…unless she’s in control of the party speaker), a wife to another incredible wife (that’s right, two badass chicks), and a proud mama raising their extraordinary daughter in Idaho.
Got a killer martini recipe? She’ll drink it. Challenge her to a burpee contest? She’ll beat you and still have enough breath to talk shit. Invite her to your cult? She’ll probably show up…with chips and guac.
When she’s not changing the world, you’ll find her on her Peloton, playing softball, or rescuing cats. Obviously. #LesbianLife

Carolyn, C-Cups, Long Leg
Carolyn is a fourth-generation Colorado native who spent several very fun years in Portland, OR. Not only did she work with Alisha and Alana…she also lived with them. Yep, roommates. We know… scary. But these three always say, “If shit hits the fan, we’ll drop everything for each other and show up, with a shovel.”
Some guy Carolyn dated once said that cooking was her love language. That may be the only thing that fucker got right…good thing she found her husband.
Carolyn loves to cook for her family and friends, it lights her up to feed people and see them happy, which is why she’s so excited to share her culinary magic with The MotherSip.
These days, you’ll find her home on a Saturday night, cooking on her Wolf range while her son watches and learns (a little chef in the making). Her culinary idols? Ina, Bobby, Alton, and JoJo. Her fans? Pretty much everyone who’s ever tasted her food. Eating and drinking? Absolutely her thing. To balance it all….and keep those triglycerides in check…you’ll find her shredding trails on her dirt bike and climbing from 7,500 to 14,000 feet in the Colorado mountains. Now that’s cardio.
Carolyn’s #1 rule of cooking: when trying a recipe for the first time, follow it exactly. Honor the recipe, taste it, and then make it your own.
